QI-GONG
Everything in universe is made of Qi (Chi or Life Force). Qi-Gong, an ancient Chinese practice, is a holistic system that utilizes the consciousness, meditation, breathing, Qi, and the body, through postures and movements, to effect continuous and positive changes in Qi, thereby leading to the improvement of health and elevation of the consciousness (One Self). It activates our life force, strength, and energize our body, mind, and soul.
Qigong usually works by opening up blocked meridians, or the routes through which qi flows, in order to allow for unimpeded movement of energy throughout the body. Qigong practitioners aim to develop higher levels of awareness, reduce anxiety, and have a clearer sense of one’s purposed in life. Routine practicing of Qigong brings unification and harmony within and around us – it is more than just an exercise that promotes vitality, reduce stress, and improve physical well-being, it is a way of life that brings deeper joy, peace, wisdom, and love.
WHAT IS YUAN QIQONG? I am a certified Yuan Qigong teacher with completion of 6-level teacher training. Yuan Qigong, also known as Yuan Gong, is a practice of beautiful moving and still meditations, using the body, mind, breath and Qi energy. Its foundations rest in Chinese tradition, but western scientific and psychological findings are incorporated, so Yuan Gong is a comprehensive discipline. Practicing Yuan Gong helps to increase mental clarity, improves internal strength and stability, and helps us understand the patterns of thought that inadvertently support negative emotions and illness.

Additionally, Yuan Qigong is a comprehensive Qigong system that was created with modern people in mind to help balance life and offer an effective path for bringing out the best in ourselves and each other. During a Yuan Qigong practice, movements, postures and breathing are accompanied by an active direction of mind/consciousness towards a meditation summed up in the below six verses.  Giving ourselves the time to experience these verses during practice helps shift our internal state towards a more unified, harmonious one. Once this transition begins, the deeper benefits of Yuan Gong become evident. Although a Yuan Gong practice has many physical benefits, students often find that the greatest value comes in less tangible forms. Simply stated, Yuan Gong opens the heart, allowing trust, openness, love and gratitude to flow in.
